Men’s Hair Loss Treatment Boca Raton
Restore Your Natural Look with Hair Loss Treatment
Although men normally start losing their hair in their middle ages, hair loss can also begin at a much earlier age.
The primary cause of male hair loss is male pattern baldness (MPB). The medical terminology for this condition is hereditary Androgenetic Alopecia. This is a genetically inherited trait developing following puberty and can come from either side of the family.
Male pattern baldness happens when a male is genetically susceptible to the presence of the hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Hair at the hairline, crown and/or the top of the head will start to diminish in shaft diameter and length. This process is called hair miniaturization and will eventually cause the permanent loss of hair in the affected area.
There are several things a man can do to slow down or stop DHT from causing hair loss such as taking finasteride, using Rogaine or treatments such as laser light therapy.
Once hair has been lost for a while, the only way to restore it is a hair transplant procedure. Hairs located on the sides and back of the head are considered to contain permanent hair follicles as they are not affected by the DHT genetic trait. When hair is harvested for a transplant procedure it is obtained from these sections of the head which is known as the “donor area.”

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the first two hair graft procedures. The procedure was almost painless and hardly noticeable. The results are gradual but amazing, It’s as though you reversed the aging process. I look younger and feel more confident. I should have done this years ago!
