Question:
Do you provide IV sedation if patients request it for their hair transplants?

Answer:
It is generally not recommended to use IV sedation during a hair transplantation procedure. The reasoning for this is that there are additional unnecessary risks to the patient when using IV anesthesia. There would also be an increase in the cost of the procedure.

Also, depending upon the state where the hair transplantation procedure is performed, there are certain state laws that change the requirements of the clinic where the transplant is being performed once a patient is going to be put under IV sedation versus just oral sedation.
