ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE Boca Raton
Conveniently located to serve Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Miami Beach, Naples, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, surrounding areas, throughout the US, and abroad.
Dr. Charles is the first surgeon to bring the ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) procedure to Boca Raton, Florida and the Southeastern United States. The ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE is the latest technology in hair transplant surgery.
The ARTAS® procedure is a computer assisted, image-guided and doctor controlled robot for use with a FUE Hair Transplant. The ARTAS® System uses sophisticated imaging technology to map out the follicular units on your head. It then chooses the optimal grafts to extract with precision before quickly and carefully harvesting each individual follicular unit of one, two, three, or even four hairs.
Dr. Charles guides the ARTAS® through the entire FUE procedure before the grafts are removed and placed in the exact angle and pattern of your natural hair growth. The result is a natural looking head of hair with minimal downtime.
The advantages of the ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE:
- Increased precision of harvesting and survival of grafts
- Higher number of follicular units in one session
- Minimal downtime
- No linear scar
Is ARTAS® Robotic-Assisted FUE Right for Me?
Candidates must have sufficient hair for transplant in the back area of the head. Patients whose middle and front head areas have thin hair or baldness issue are excellent candidates for ARTASⓇ Robotic-Assisted FUE treatment. Dark-haired light-skinned patients are the best candidates for this procedure.
Your ARTAS® Robotic-Assisted FUE Consultation
During the consultation, we will discuss your concerns regarding the bald patches or thinning areas on your head. You must disclose your expectations so we can determine if ARTASⓇ Robotic-Assisted FUE treatment is the best solution for you. We will look over your medical history and current prescriptions to minimize complications.
The ARTAS® procedure is FDA-cleared for light skinned and dark haired men. Therefore, men with light hair will be asked to dye their hair darker 3 days prior to their scheduled ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE procedure for optimum results.
The ARTAS® Robotic-Assisted FUE Procedure
ARTASⓇ Robotic-Assisted FUE treatment usually takes six to eight hours depending on the details of the patient’s case. Anesthesia will be administered prior to the procedure. The ARTASⓇ technology will identify and harvest the best hair follicles for transplant from the back and sides of the head.
The ARTAS® Robotic-Assisted FUE Recovery Period
After the ARTASⓇ Robotic-Assisted FUE treatment, the patient may experience minor temporary swelling and/or discomfort. Since it is a minimally invasive procedure, the recovery period will be as short as two to three days.
The patient can expect full results after one year, though early growth can be seen after several months. The patient can enjoy permanent results.
After your ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE procedure, the donor region will be mostly healed after one week with improvement in the recipient area in as little as six to twelve months.
ARTAS® Robotic-Assisted FUE Cost
The cost of the procedure varies depending on the severity of hair loss. The overall price of the ARTASⓇ Robotic-Assisted FUE treatment will be affected by the number of grafts necessary to achieve the desired results.
As a final consideration, you should be aware that not all patients are candidates for the ARTAS® Robotic Assisted FUE.
Best money I ever spent…
Irked by baldness? Get a transplantJack Bennett
After reading the recent article concerning hair loss and the various ways to remedy it, I had to respond . After years of agonizing over my fleeting hairline, I finally did something about it: I went for a transplant. It wasn’t cheap, but it was the best money I ever spent on my own vanity. Let’s face it, you don’t really need hair, but once you’ve had it, you don’t want to see it go.
If you hate being bald then do it. It’s painless and it’s your own hair. They’re just moving some to places where it will do the most good. You’ve got nothing to lose but that bald spot.
